REVEALING GOD: A NEW THEOLOGY FROM SCIENCE AND JESUS
Revealing God assumes God creates the cosmos science describes. Is this God, creator of a dynamic, evolving universe, compatible with Jesus' concept of God as a generous, merciful parent?

The inert, static world of the ancients has passed away. God no longer hurls hail on God's enemies (Joshua 10:8-13). This change of view is cause for rejoicing. Today study combining cosmology, physics, and biology reveals a world that creates itself, a world that increases during 13.7 billion years in size, complexity, structure, and intelligence. This book assumes God creates this universe, and this universe reflects God's character. Jesus' parables and deeds tell of a generous God, merciful to outcasts and enemies. Such a God might well create such a generative world, our world, the world science describes.
